Awesome means for something to be ‘extremely impressive’. It can also be inspiring, in the sense that it inspires awe. Many things can inspire awe - great beauty, nature or artwork, or when someone makes a leap that exceeds expectations, often in an unexpected way.
Taking a leap, doing something differently, requires changing your mindset. It is far easier to do what has been done before, or what is expected of us. Change is generally uncomfortable because the outcome we seek is unfamiliar. What if you could access resources within you that allowed the changes you want to make become reality?
Carolyn is an executive coach, facilitator and trainer with significant experience as a founder, business owner and senior manager. She has designed and delivered programs across a range of content areas for private organisations, and developed and accredited courses within the RTO sector.
For over 20 years Carolyn has focussed on working with, and in, small to medium sized businesses and industry associations – across a range of industries including professional services and manufacturing. The common theme has been a passion for what they did, a drive to succeed, and the ability to rethink to stay ahead of changes.
Working with clients on a consulting basis, Carolyn found she was doing much more than consulting, but she just didn’t know what to call it. As a result, Carolyn explored coaching, which led to undertaking a number of short courses and qualifications in coaching.
Studying Conversational
Intelligence with the wonderful Judith E. Glaser and her amazing team led to an
exploration of energy. What is it, how does it work, what are the benefits to be gained from understanding it? And many more questions.
It is this knowledge and study of the discipline of energy that has led Carolyn to her role as an energy practitioner. Carolyn has not only incorporated this understanding into her coaching sessions, but also as an independent field of work.
Carolyn brings a broad perspective
and insight to her work, along with an ability to build relationships of trust
and depth. She is respected for her integrity and willingness to hold herself
and others to account to achieve agreed goals.
She also retains a curiosity that drives an ongoing interest in continuing learning across all areas, not just those which could relate to her expertise. This has led Carolyn to undertake short courses in a range of areas including Design Thinking and Quick Prototyping, Philosophy, Anthropology and Cyber Security, and more latterly the energy body including energy medicine, energy healing, Qigong and Tai Chi.
